What is the ESB-RI?
ESB - RI stands for European School of Business Research Institute, which is a research institute of the European School of Business Reutlingen (ESB Reutlingen). The ESB - RI is a judicial research institute of the Steinbeis network (society of technology- and knowledge transfer).
What does the ESB-RI?
The ESB - RI is engaged in questions concerning innovation in economy and society. The generation of new business ideas and the analysis of new forms of networking in the globalised knowledge society are two fields of activity.
The ESB - RI offers the following services:
- Technology- and knowledge transfer
- Consultancy
- Evaluations
- Supervision of international projects
- Innovation networks
An extensive project is the organisation of the NewBizCup - a countrywide business plan contest
Who is the ESB-RI?
The ESB-RI was founded in 2005 by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Niess and Prof. Dr. Baumeister (lecturers at the ESB Reutlingen). The first research assistants of the ESB-RI were Mrs. Annegret Jennewein and M. Fauser (doctoral candidates at Dublin City University and Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore, Milan). Mr. Matthias Kramer and Dennis Hoenig-Ohnsorg were following as research assistants in the years 2005 and 2006. Today the ESB - RI is directed by Prof. Dr. Seiter.
Where is the ESB-RI?
The ESB-RI is located in 8, Gerhard-Kindler-Straße, in the technology park Tübingen-Reutlingen. Many different start-ups are located there, which offers pefect conditions for the ESB-RI to act as an interface between economy and science. Please look here for an approach map.
How can I do a doctorate?
There are several possibilities to do a doctorate in cooperation with the partner schools of the ESB.
Who supports the ESB-RI?
The ESB-RI is part of the Steinbeis network. It is also supported by the Ministry of Economics of Baden-Württemberg.
