We realise research- and development projects in the area of innovation and act as experts within this subject.

The ESB-RI understands "innovation" as the renewal of products, processes and organisational structures. We regard innovation as a microeconomic as well as a macroeconomic phenomenon and attent to the perspective of companies as well as to the perspective of regions.

Among our clients are the European Commission, Ministries of the Federal Republic of Germany as well as Ministries of the federal state of Baden-Württemberg, non-profit associations and private companies.

The following projects show the wide spectrum of our research focuses namely entrepreneurship, innovation and Knowledge-Economy.

They range from the globalisation of the business world (R&D), via systems of entrance examination at the European School of Business to a German-Italian project in the area of regional aid. Futher they include two EU-Socrates-Minerva projects on regional sustainability and strategies of teaching, as well as a cooperation in the area of innovation.
